    Danny’s journey has been marked by significant struggles with mental illness, including food and drug addiction, morbid obesity, and several suicide attempts. These personal challenges have deeply shaped his perspective on mental health and resilience.

    His experiences have ignited a strong passion for mental health advocacy. Through his involvement with the Tired of Walking project, Danny aims to challenge the stigma surrounding mental illness and offer hope and support to individuals both in Japan and globally. His work is dedicated to fostering understanding and compassion, reflecting his commitment to making a positive impact on mental health awareness.

  • Raised in Osaka, Japan, Sean Osada, a mixed-race Japanese American, integrates his diverse cultural background into his mental health advocacy. Despite achieving success in the entertainment industry, Sean has grappled with personal struggles, including depression and suicidal thoughts. These challenges, compounded by the industry's insufficient support for mental health, have fueled his dedication to advocacy.

    In his role with the Tired of Walking project, Sean is focused on addressing the need for better mental health practices. By sharing his journey and promoting open conversations, he aims to create a community where seeking help is normalized and free from stigma.

    Sean's vision is for a world where mental health awareness and compassion are central to societal values, striving to foster environments that emphasize resilience and empathy, allowing people to openly address their mental health needs.

  • Julian Domanski, originally from Birmingham, England, now calls Tokyo home with his Japanese wife. His journey into mental health advocacy was profoundly shaped by the tragic loss of his best friend, Lee, to suicide. This personal experience sparked Julian’s deep commitment to mental health awareness and support.

    As a member of the Tired of Walking project, Julian leverages his extensive experience in visual storytelling to enhance the team’s mission. His background allows him to craft impactful and empathetic content that supports the project's goals.

    Julian believes strongly in the power of storytelling to drive change and is dedicated to using his skills to illuminate mental health issues. His work with Tired of Walking reflects his commitment to encouraging open discussions about mental health and challenging the stigma surrounding it.
